Adding your first Organisation – An overview

Learn how to connect a QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB Online Organisation to Futrli for the first time and start creating beautiful reports, building three-way forecasts and setting up alerts to manage your business on auto-pilot

Get your business data into Futrli

While we give you demo data to play with, you won’t see the power until you sync your Organisation with us and start getting insights into your business.

First, you need to navigate to the Organisations section of Futrli. This is where you can add new Organisations and view and manage existing ones which you’ve added or have access to. Access to Organisations can be found on the sidebar menu.


In the top right you’ll find the Add Organisation button:

From here you will see a box that offers you the various options for adding an organisation:

Adding a Xero/QuickBooks/MYOB Organisation

From the menu, you can choose which type of accounting package you have. If you aren’t using Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB you can import your data via CSV, so don’t worry. If you have multiple organisations already synced with us and want to have a consolidated view of them, you can also do that here.

Select the relevant service and you will be taken to their site to complete the authorisation process, and select the organisation you wish to add. When this has happened, you’ll be taken back to Futrli automatically:

NB: For MYOB this needs to be achieved using the MYOB Accountright service.

It will take a moment for your data to sync with Futrli. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know with a notification just as soon as the sync has completed.

Your data will also be set up to auto-sync daily, to ensure your insights are always up-to-date and correct.

In the meantime, we have given you a Dashboard with demo data for the industry you selected during the registration process . So, head there and have a play around, or we’d recommend that you hit our killer first 15 minutes guide (see below).
