How to rename forecast lines

About

You can rename your Forecast Items at any time by either editing an existing or creating a new Forecast Item, and then pressing the pencil icon. This allows greater clarity when forecasting and ensures that your Forecasts can be as detailed as you need them to be. Create individual Forecast Items for your products, major clients, sales channels, staff, employees or whatever is most important for your business.

How to: When Creating a new Forecast Item

In this example we’re going rename a newly created Forecast Item ‘London Sales’. First create a forecast item by clicking the green cross adjacent to the Account in question. By default, the item will be called ‘Sales forecast’ – the name of whichever line we are entering the forecast against, in this case Sales, followed by the word ‘forecast’:

To change the name of the Forecast Item, simply click into the title box and amend how you wish, in this case ‘London Sales’:

Once happy with the changes made, simply press Save Changes to save. Please note, an Invoice amount will need to be entered to allow changes to be made:

Once we’ve entered our Forecast and pressed Save Changes, we’ll now find a Forecast item sat below our Sales line entitled ‘London Sales’:
