You can use our 'Quick Edit Options' to make bulk changes when using the 'On the Fly' forecasting method. This allows you to perform bulk edits to the values which have been entered for all periods, an individual period or for multiple selected periods within your Forecast. Using the quick edit options you can split the allocation of forecasted figures across a range, increase and decrease values by a percentage, or add or subtract values by an amount.

Quick Edit Options
'Set selected to'
This allows you to set all of the values for the selected periods to your chosen figure.
'Increase selected by %'
Using the 'Increase by %' option you can apply a percentage increase to your selected periods. The percentage will be applied to whatever values have currently been entered for the period/s and therefore shouldn't be applied to periods which have a value of zero - unless you are looking for an exercise in futility!
'Decrease selected by %'
The 'Decrease by %' option allows you to apply a percentage decrease to the periods you have selected. Your percentage decrease will be applied to any existing values stored against a selected period.
'Add £$ to selected'
Using the 'Add £$ to the selected' option, you can increase the values stored against your selected period/s by a fixed amount.
'Subtract £$ from selected'
You can decrease the values for individual periods or for a range by a fixed value using the 'Subtract £$ from selected' option.
'Split by selected'
With the 'Split by selected' option, you can split values across a range. This allows you to take a value and evenly distribute it across a number of periods.
