It's not just the information that flows through from your Organisation that can be imported into Futrli. Using our non-financial importer, you can bring in other data with ease!
What is non-financial data?
The data that is pulled through into Futrli is sat within your Chart of Accounts, either a Profit and Loss Account, or a Balance Sheet Account. You might however have other figures that play a role in your company.
For example, a hotel might be keen to report on how many of their rooms were booked on a certain day, or how many people visited their hotel restaurant.
When importing this information into Futrli, you can split the information down into a parent category and a child category:
You can then reference either the parent category, or the child category.
Can I reference it in a Forecast?
Absolutely! Whenever you use the 'Formula Method/Last Year's Actuals' forecasting method in Futrli, you have the option to reference a non-financial account. You can either use the non-financial information alongside other information as part of a calculation, or you could just add it on its own!
Can I report against it?
How do I upload it?
Uploading the data is a smooth process with our uploader wizard! You'll be able to download a template which can populate (see this Help Guide for information on that process), which is then imported. For a step-by-step guide, click here!
