Reporting on a 4-weekly Period
Using Futrli’s flexible date options you can quickly and simply select the appropriate date range for your report. In this guide, we’re going to walkthrough how we would display 4 weeks worth of data for a specific period, week-by-week, and then how we can display four weeks worth of data collectively in one report.

Using Futrli’s flexible date options you can quickly and simply select the appropriate date range for your report. In this guide we’re going to walkthrough how we would display 4 weeks worth of data for a specific period, week-by-week, and then how we can display four weeks worth of data collectively in one report.
Displaying a 4-Weekly Report Week-by-Week
In this guide we’re going to be using a Report Card to display our Income over a 4-week period. First, we need to ensure that our Card is in Edit mode and that the Settings tab on the back of the Card is selected. This is where we can edit our Report’s date range:
Click the first date range dropdown (in our example this currently displays This calendar month) and select Custom Period End. This allows us to select any Date to run a report from:
Click the Date dropdown that appears on the right-hand side to select your desired date. In this example, we’re going to select May 29th:
Then we need to select how we wish to report on our data and how many periods we wish to include relative to May 29th. We’re going to be selecting ‘& the Previous’ ‘3 Weeks’ to tell our report to include four weeks worth of data, from the 29th of May backwards. This will cause our report to display data, week-by-week, from the 2nd to the 29th of May:
Click done to see your resultant report.
Displaying 4 Weeks of Data in one Report
This time, we’re going to be repeating steps one, two and three, but instead of selecting ‘& the previous’ ‘3 Weeks’ we will be selecting ‘& the previous’ ‘0 weeks’:
Then, we’re going to be selecting the Report Tab. This is where we select the data we wish to display on our report. We now want to select New Formula and then the Formula Builder:
The Formula Builder is where you can enter custom KPIs or metrics, select specific line items and more besides. Here you’ll find your entire Chart of Accounts. We’re going to select Income to add it to our formula:
To include four weeks worth of data, we’re going to be using Period Offset to add the data for the past three weeks to our calculation. To do we need to add our Income category three more times, so that our calculation will read Income + Income + Income + Income:
Next, we need to click into three of our Income lines to change the date that we are referencing. At present all four of our Income lines will be referencing data for our selecting reporting period (the week ending May 29th). By clicking in and applying a period offset of 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks, we will instead change our calculation to ‘Income [this week] + Income [last week] + Income [2 weeks ago} + Income [3 weeks ago]:
We can now save our formula and view your Report.
