You can use our 'Quick Edit Options' to make bulk changes when using the 'On the Fly' forecasting method.
This allows you to perform bulk edits to the values which have been entered for all periods, an individual period or for multiple selected periods within your forecast.
Using the 'Quick Edit Options' you can split the allocation of forecasted figures across a range, increase and decrease values by a percentage, or add or subtract values by an amount.

How to select/deselect periods
With the 'On the Fly' forecasting method selected, you will find a checkbox displayed adjacent to each monthly period within the bounds of your forecast:
Simply click the checkbox adjacent to a period in order to select it, you can select as many periods as you wish:
You can select every period within a year using the 'Select/Deselect All' option, which appears above the first period within a 12-month sequence:
Uncheck a period to deselect it:

Selecting your quick edit option
After selecting the periods you wish to apply your quick edit option to, it is time to select the quick edit option you wish to use. You can do this using the 'Quick Edit Options' drop-down:
Click the drop-down to select an option:
After selecting your desired option simply enter the desired increase/decrease or split you wish to perform. In this example we are entering an increase of 20%:

Applying your quick edit selection
Once you have selected the range to apply your selection to and your quick edit method, you can apply your change using the 'Apply' button. Simply click the 'Apply' button and your change will be applied. Please note, this cannot be undone.

'Set selected to'
This allows you to set all of the values for the selected periods to your chosen figure.
'Increase selected by %'
Using the 'Increase by %' option you can apply a percentage increase to your selected periods. The percentage will be applied to whatever values have currently been entered for the period/s and therefore shouldn't be applied to periods which have a value of zero - unless you are looking for an exercise in futility!
'Decrease selected by %'
The 'Decrease by %' option allows you to apply a percentage decrease to the periods you have selected. Your percentage decrease will be applied to any existing values stored against a selected period.
'Add £$ to selected'
Using the 'Add £$ to the selected' option, you can increase the values stored against your selected period/s by a fixed amount.
'Subtract £$ from selected'
You can decrease the values for individual periods or for a range by a fixed value using the 'Subtract £$ from selected' option.
'Split by selected'
With the 'Split by selected' option, you can split values across a range. This allows you to take a value and evenly distribute it across a number of periods.
